You never realize how strange your life is until you break into a storage space the floor below the photographer’s studio and shoot in an old payphone kept there whose overhead light (surprisingly) still works.

Mike was up from FLorida this week. We got together today to shoot and have lunch. It was nice to see him again after a year. This picture was taken shortly before he moved from New Jersey to Florida. We were shooting with his old 8x10 camera (which I think he said was his father’s.) This is a digital picture of the camera and I.

Although this was taken inside, for some reason looking at it now it makes me think of outdoors on a beach with the sky blown out because the sun is shining so brightly.

This was taken a few years ago when Christopher Ryan traveled to NYC. He rented a studio for the day and booked most of the “usual suspects” of the NYC model community at that time in hour blocks. I passed one model in the elevator on the way up to the studio and another on the way out.

This picture was taken in 2007 or 2008, I think. I was hanging from a pipe in the photographer’s basement for this shot and he took a picture of my reflection in a dirty mirror. We were lucky the pipe didn’t break because we didn’t know what kind of a pipe it was (not that knowing would make it much better.) Looking at it I am a little surprised that with the exception of maybe an inch more around my waistline, I look exactly the same. The only change is my hair is a bit longer now. It must be that picture in my attic.

This is from a shoot I had with Andy late 2011 or early 2012, I believe. Six months later he found the Polaroid unpeeled from our session. He peeled it, and finding the Polaroid turned out interesting, took a shot of it and the negative and sent both to me via email.
I am not sure why tumblr flipped this image every time I tried to upload it. It was orientated horizontal.
